Shipping policy
We aim to dispatch every order within 24 hours (Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). All orders are dispatched from the UK.
The time it takes for your order to reach you depends on where you are.
UK customers
We currently offer FREE UK standard shipping on orders over £100, delivered in 2-4 working days from the time of dispatch.
Orders under £100 have a £3.99 shipping fee.
EU customers
European orders are usually delivered in 3-5 days from the time of dispatch.
We offer a flat rate shipping of £4.90 for customers in Spain. If you're in another European country, you'll see your shipping costs at the checkout before you make a purchase.
Rest of the world
Depending on where you are, your order may take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

General rules
For orders outside the UK, duties and taxes may be charged once the parcel has reached its destination country and you'll be liable for these costs. You can check duties and taxes with your local customs office.
For orders outside the UK, your parcel may be subject to customs delays.
You're responsible for ensuring the delivery address you use is valid and complete. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address resulting in delays or loss, there's no liability on Handmade Stories and we may refuse to refund you. If your package is returned to us and you want us to send it again, you'll need to pay for the new postage.
If you don't collect your package within the timeframe set by the local postal service and the item is returned to us, we'll check it's in perfect condition and, if you wish, you can ask us to send it to you again. You'll have to pay for the new postage. If you decide you don't want it anymore, you can ask for store credit (we'll discount any costs that may arise, such as postal costs or restocking costs). In the UK, Royal Mail will keep a package for 18 days from the first attempt of delivery, and it is your responsibility to collect it within the given timeframe.
