Refund policy

We hope you love our products, but if you don't or there's a problem with an item, we have a Refund Policy. You'll find all the information below. If you have any unresolved issues or questions, please contact us at hello@handmadestoriesworld.com.

 

Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your item (the day received counts as day 1). From the moment you request the return, you'll have 14 days to send the item back to us to receive your refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be the same that was sent to you, in the same condition as you received it, unworn and unused, with its tags and labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, contact us at hello@handmadestoriesworld.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be refunded. Please note that the cost of returning the items will be your responsibility.

If your return request is rejected, you will need to pay the shipping fee to have the item/s posted back to you.

We advise you to send it to us via a tracked service as you're responsible for the item until it reaches us and we won't be able to give you a refund if it gets lost in transit.

Damages and issues
Please check your order as soon as you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and put things right. If this happens, please email us as soon as possible at hello@handmadestoriesworld.com with a picture of the item. In order to get your refund, we require you to send us the defective item back for evaluation. Once we've received and checked the item, if elegible, we'll repair or replace your item.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
For reasons of hygiene, jewellery and hair accessories cannot be returned or refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.

Unfortunately, we can't accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Please contact us before posting the item to us.

You'll be responsible for the cost of sending the item back to us and the cost of sending you a replacement. We advise you send it to us via a tracked service as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us and we won't be able to give you a refund if it gets lost in transit.

Refunds
We'll let you know when we’ve received and checked your return, and if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and for the money to appear in your account.
