This elegant jumpsuit is all set to turn heads. Made from a soft, breathable fabric, its high-waist and cropped top will give you a sophisticated look without compromising on comfort.
We follow the World Fair Trade Organisation's guidelines to ensure our practices are fair and improve the lives of those who work with us.
The strip with the Andean motifs has been handmade by women in a rural community in the Peruvian Andes. We pay them a fair wage and help the ones that want to set up their own local businesses. We also dedicate part of the profits to undertake development projects chosen by the women in the communities.
The jumpsuit was tailored in a small family-run factory in Lima. We only work with small factories that respect workers' rights and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.
The handmade motifs
Each motif has a meaning. The motif that looks like an S represents the tool they use in the community to work the fields, which has the same shape. It's called cuty in Quechua, and the motif is named after it. Some women weave a line or dots in between the cutys, some don't. So even if your friend buys the same piece, the motifs may vary a bit, which makes every piece unique (so yours might not be exactly the same as the one in the picture).
The jumpsuit is made of 97% viscose and 3% spandex. This combination gives it a linen feel but with added flexibility.
The motifs have been made using a blend of alpaca and sheep wool, so they are soft to the touch.
